Who are we ?

Baïa is a Spanish startup that was born in 2016 by two entrepreneurs, Guillermo and Loan, with the vision of reduce consumption of sugars and ultra-processed foods.

Our mission is Improve people's quality of life and support them on their journey to well-being, developing natural, healthy and delicious products that can be easily incorporated into your daily life.

At 21, a severe case of appendicitis made me realize the importance of nutrition for my well-being. Surgeons had to remove a meter of my intestine to save me. I realized that what we eat is key to health, along with exercise and rest. Thanks to this, I delved into the world of healthy eating and, together with my colleague and friend Loan, we founded Baïa Food.

My degree in Pharmacy led me to develop a passion for medicinal plants and their therapeutic power. In a research project at Utrecht University, I discovered the 'Miracle Berry' with its miraculin protein that transforms sour flavors into sweet ones. This revelation inspired me to found Baïa Food with Guille, betting on health through nutrition.

Since I was young, I have been passionate about medicinal plants. I experienced a change in my lifestyle at the age of 22, which led me to research and improve my well-being. I wanted to join a company that shared my values and promoted an integrative vision of health. Thus, I joined Guillermo and Loan's project to Helpr to improve the quality of life and the well-being of everyone.
