Many people exercise thinking about how good they'll feel afterward. Now imagine how eager you'll be to train if this cake is waiting for you at home.

Although I have to admit that for those days off, it's also a spectacular, filling, and delicious snack.

It's true that it's high in protein, but the idea that protein is only for muscle-bound gymgoers is a thing of the past. Whether you want to gain muscle mass, maintain it, or boost fat loss, protein is essential.

MARBLED SPONGE CAKE WITH PLANT PROTEIN

To make it, you will need:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup of date puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla

The preparation:

1. In a bowl, mash the bananas and add the coconut oil, date puree, and vanilla, stirring until combined.
2. Add the oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and mix with the previous preparation until you have a homogeneous mixture.
3. We separate the mixture into two equal parts and add the vanilla protein to one part and the chocolate protein and cocoa powder to the other part.
4. Prepare a cake tin with a little vegetable butter and line it with baking paper to prevent sticking.
5. Pour in the vanilla mixture and then the chocolate mixture, and with a knife, we can mix to combine the flavors a little.
6. Bake for 35 minutes at 160º. Serve and enjoy.
