Per 28 grams (approximately two tablespoons), they provide: 11 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, 9 grams of fat (of which 5 are omega-3), 18% of the recommended daily amount of calcium, 30% of manganese, 30% of magnesium, and 27% of phosphorus. And only 127 calories.

Most of their carbohydrates are fiber

Fiber is not digested and does not raise blood sugar, so insulin is not required to process it. ORGANIC CHIA seeds absorb up to 12 times their weight in water, forming a gel that cleans the intestinal walls, and therefore helps combat bloating and constipation. The 9 essential amino acids are: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. 

They are easy to incorporate into your diet

You can prepare ORGANIC CHIA seed water as follows:

  • Dissolve the juice of half a lemon or half a lime and a tablespoon of chia seeds in a large glass of water (optional: add stevia if you need to sweeten it). Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for an hour and you will have a drink ready, ideal for keeping you satisfied between meals and avoiding unhealthy snacking. 
  • You can add them to salads and smoothies, and they will significantly increase their nutritional value while adding very few calories.
  • Or go for the traditional chia pudding, but now in summer you can freeze it in popsicle molds and enjoy it as ice cream. They are delicious!!
