Marbled Protein Cake

Many people exercise thinking about how good they will feel afterwards, now imagine how hard you will train if this cake is waiting for you at home.

Although I have to admit that for those days of rest it is also a spectacular, satisfying and delicious snack.

It is true that it is high in protein but thinking that protein is only for gym muscles was left in the last century. Whether you want to gain muscle mass, maintain it or enhance fat loss, protein is essential.

Protein shakes are old fashioned but let yourself be surprised with this preparation!!

MARBLE CAKE WITH PLANT PROTEIN

To do it, you will need:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla protein
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein
  • 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup date puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla

The preparation:

1. In a bowl, mash the bananas and add the coconut oil, date puree and vanilla, stir until combined.
2. Add the oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and mix with the previous preparation until you have a homogeneous mixture.
3. We separate the mixture into two equal parts and add the vanilla protein to one part and the chocolate protein and cocoa powder to the other part.
4. We prepare a cake mold with a little vegetable butter and place baking paper on it to prevent it from sticking.
5. We pour the vanilla mixture and then the chocolate mixture and with a knife we ​​can mix so that the flavors come together a little.
6. Bake for 35 minutes at 160º. Serve and enjoy.
