January is now behind us, and although more and more of you have decided to lead a healthy lifestyle, I still know many of you who are still punishing your bodies with bad lifestyle habits. So, if you identify with this, I recommend reading the following tips, which will be very useful for taking better care of yourself this year.
1. Increase vegetable consumption
Try eating salads, creamed vegetables, and baked or grilled vegetables with every meal to increase your fiber intake and feel full. This will prevent you from overindulging in other, more caloric and nutritionally empty meals. If you're eating out, you can make a green smoothie with chia seeds. before going out to ensure a good supply of vitamins and minerals and prevent you from binge eating.
2. Opt for healthy alternatives
Everything has a healthy alternative that will make you feel much better. For example, instead of overdoing it with chocolate, opt for a recipe with PURE ORGANIC COCOA To maintain good magnesium levels, instead of gorging on bread and chips, try whole grains, pumpkin or sweet potatoes, or nuts. If you find yourself overindulging in coffee, switch to tea. ORGANIC MATCHA To increase your antioxidant intake, also increase your fruit intake whenever possible (it's best to avoid it at night).
3. Moderate your alcohol consumption and tobacco
Extra beers, wines, drinks, shots, and cigars do a disservice to your health and energy levels. Try to drink in moderation and always opt for red wine instead of liqueurs or stronger alcohols.
4. Get moving!
Get physical activity every day, whether it's a long walk, running, dancing, cycling, or whatever you fancy. Exercise boosts our metabolism and improves our cardiovascular and respiratory health, controls our blood sugar, and helps us optimize fat levels.
5. Don't "de-stress" by eating
Family events, company parties, dinners and lunches with a thousand friends, party nights, and other events can significantly disrupt our routine and rest. All of this can cause stress, leading to overeating and anxiety. Try doing a series of yoga stretches and meditating for 10 minutes a day to relax. And most importantly, get 8 hours of sleep.
6. One, two, three...detox
The day after a heavy dinner, reset your body by drinking a large glass of warm water with lemon and a tablespoon of spirulina on an empty stomach. This
Go for it!
