5 tips to prepare more Winter Friendly Smoothies

In winter, you might not feel like drinking juice much. With the cold weather and limited sun exposure, your body craves warmer, more filling foods. However, it's a great time to drink a vitamin- and mineral-rich juice every day to prevent colds, flu, and all kinds of viruses.
And why? Their nutrients are absorbed very quickly—in less than 30 minutes, to be more specific—by saving our body from having to digest the fiber found in fruits and vegetables. Therefore, for people prone to digestive problems, they are highly assimilable, energizing, and great for strengthening the immune system.
What we can do to make them more wintry is:
Use ginger
Blend a piece of ginger with the fruits and vegetables you use. Ginger, in addition to being an antimicrobial,
