RECIPE: SPIRULINA AND ZUCCHINI HUMMUS

Do you want to try a different hummus with extra nutrients? Well, this recipe is going to surprise you, just by adding a tablespoon of organic spirulina to your classic hummus you have it 😏

And what extra benefits are we adding? Thanks to spirulina, a blue-green algae, we provide:

High content of complete vegetable protein (8 essential amino acids).

Tryptophan, an amino acid that will help you rest better, relax and improve depressive states.

High amount of chlorophyll, helps increase red blood cells and oxygenate the body. 

Contains Phycocyanin (it is what gives it a bluish color) helps the proper functioning of the liver and digestion of amino acids. 

Rich in minerals (iron, potassium, phosphorus...) and B complex vitamins (B3, B6, B9 and B12).

Well, in just one step you have this different and more nutritious recipe.

Ingredients:

⚡️ 300 g cooked chickpeas 

⚡️ 1 small zucchini, unpeeled and cut into cubes

⚡️ 1 clove of garlic

⚡️ Half lemon juice 

⚡️ 1-2 Spoons of tahini (sesame paste)

⚡️ Half a glass of water 

⚡️ 1 teaspoon cumin powder

⚡️ 1 Tablespoon of ORGANIC SPIRULINA 

🌪 Put all the ingredients in the blender, and blend until there is a creamy pate. Serve it in a bowl and season with sweet paprika, parsley, oil or seeds to taste.
